#AtoZchallenge A - Acceptance

A- Acceptance (What a Mother Wants)

Being is a mother is such an overwhelming experience. Whether you are a first-time mommy or a mommy of two. Motherhood comes in various part and parcels. Once you become a mother everything in life seems to change. Forget about the changes with things and everybody else around you, you as a person change completely. You are no longer you. You grow up suddenly. You know there is a little human who is totally dependent on you.

Motherhood doesn't come with a manual. You learn everyday with your experience. It's like a trial and error experiment. Either you become successful or you fail, but even from the failure you learn something new out of it that's the charm of motherhood. As a Mother I always trust my instincts when it comes to the style of parenting and deciding what's good for my kids. A mother is given gazillion advices from the elders from the family, relatives, friends and sometimes even strangers. I believe It's always good to take advice because you never know when what information comes handy.

Today's time is all about new age parenting. A mother would never do any harm to her kids. As a mother I prefer doing what I want and how I want. The last and final decision lies in my hands. New age or modern parenting styles are some how not acceptable to many specially the elders (some not all). Whatever a mother does is always questionable by many and even judged. All a mother wants is to be accepted for what she is, how she is.

This blog post is a part of my A to Z Blogging challenge where in I will be blogging the entire month of April and sharing my views on Motherhood. what all a mother needs to be a mother (if you know what i mean). So, hang on with me in this entire month to know my views and share yours for the same.

  1. You have to do what works for you. I am a grandma of twins and it has been so fun to see them growing and changing. They are 2 1/2 now. Our daughter is raising her boys totally differently than I raised our kids. But she is doing an amazing job. In fact, I often regret not mothering more in her style.
